TWISTED MERMAID Baby Alpaca Sportweight Yarn- Hand Painted
Soft as a cloud baby alpaca yarn, hand painted with turquoise, brown & yellow with darker and lighter hues of each as the colors blend. Twisted Mermaid is ready for you to make something truly yummy with it! Each skein is 291 yards per 3.5 oz. This a sport weight yarn.
Hand painting means each skein is unique; no two skeins are exactly alike. The name of this yarn was suggested by Wooly's friend, Helen E., a true connoisseur of mermaids.
We recommend hand washing and air drying anything you make with this yarn.
I have included samples of knitting and crocheting with this yarn (see pictures.). I can tell you that this is one of the softest yarns I have ever worked with; it works up beautifully, lays flat and has wonderful drape. Knit on a size 5 needle yields 5 stitches and 7 rows per inch. Crochet hook F (using SC) is 3 stitches and 2.5 rows per inch.
