The blue stones may be quartz or blue glass and the purple stone may be amethyst or purple glass; they are definitely not rhinestones because there is no backing on the stones.
The pin with blue stones is larger, approximately 2 5/8" x 3/4". The smaller purple pin is approximately 1 7/8" x 3/4".
