Vintage Handmade Bead Bib Choker Necklace: OOAK

A very unique necklace. Obviously hand crafted and old, I can't guess just how old.

The choker part is rigid, reinforced with four bars to hold the shape & keep it from collapsing into an uncomfortable ring. The height of the choker is 1.5", the solid part is 11" with an extension chain adding another 5.5". There are 10 rows of beads making up the choker part.

The bib portion drops into a graceful V shape, adding 15.5" of beads from the choker part. At the widest it is 4.5".

This necklace has some weight to it; all by its lonesome, it's almost half a pound.

A dramatic piece for a dramatic person or outstanding for costuming.

The only place I can see the maker could be challenged on is the end caps which appear to be metal covered plastic, but, maybe it was all they had at hand that would fit at the time. One of the caps has a paint smear that can be shifted to the inside but, if I decide to keep it, I would change out the end caps for something more in keeping with the quality of the rest of the necklace.

Since this is obviously a handmade & one of a kind, we are selling it as a Vintage with Visible wear.
